Cloudy now and humid. Thunderstorms expected. Thor deliver us! Stayed inside yesterday except for a short morning walk and a trip to get Thai food. We watched The Breakfast Club. Parts of it are off-putting and sexist but I still think it's important that it shows their mental struggles and that they talk to each other. Hard to believe it hasn't been turned into a play.
Two major accomplishments: I cleaned out my drawers and I called Bill. He talked for over an hour, barely asking any questions. Saying all kinds of things which he didn't realized touched on some sore spots for me. Still, it was interesting to hear about his life. He did drop something amazing that I'm trying to sort out. He said that his great grandparents came from Inishkea North and South. Tiny islands off the coast of Mayo. The farthest you can go. They are uninhabited now but have a history of the old religions, monasteries, purple production and seals. Gorgeous spots of green and whites sand in turquoise waters. This has of course gripped my imagination and I want to visit.
Hoping that this week will be a little easier, with less people time. I do have a dentist appt. but I'm looking forward to this process moving ahead, so bring it.
