Drive it like you stole it

Cold this morning. I rode my bike to Leverett, then walked around. It was a good way to do it. The biking is of course better than driving environmentally, it's quicker than walking and I get some cardio. Still listening to The Brothers Karamazov with only 8 hours left. What a story.
We're getting ready for the high holidays. Time to cook and bake and re-enter the world after the summer. The trip to LA was a nice break, especially on top of the weekend in Provincetown. Away from here and no cooking or cleaning.
The trip to LA I will write about another day, but I do feel that it was a pivotal point at this time in my life. To be out in the world, on a plane, in a taxi, watching the sunrise on the other side of the continent after having been in this apartment for three years, that was really something. And all of the anxiety washed away. Put into action and preparation and spent. Drifting off over the city as I sat on the roof drinking an Aperol spritz.
"This is your life, you can go anywhere, Grab the wheel and own it, Drive it like you stole it"
