Here I go again on my own, walking down the only road I've ever known...
I did yoga this morning. Yay me. Unfortunately it was a woo-woo class with only a few poses, but I was on the mat. If we can get the boxes out of there I will have more room. With the new schedule (soon to be the new cruelty schedule) will have more morning time.
Not much to report. Last night we watched Around the World in 80 Days, which is much deeper than one might imagine. Then Hawkeye. I finished The Buried Giant. A little grumpy that I spent time on it. Now further into House of Leaves which is just extraordinary.
Violet has tough weeks ahead, but she gets to be in a show! I have to sell tickets. Honey seems to have settled in well, though still waiting to hear from Trinity.
Oh! Yesterday I walked Kendrick pond. A bit icy but beautiful. And the pond was full of skaters and kids playing hockey. It makes me so happy to see this. People out on a pond in the woods, not the citified rink. Country girl at heart. Saturday we walked out to Leverett and beyond. On top of my two miles in the morning.
We finished the Expanse, which faded into the sunset in an unsatisfying way. But they're all still alive. And together. No more Brakebills. No more Roci. Where's my next group of superfriends?
