The Hurly Burly's Done

Back on track after some busy weeks. Retreat, box office, birthday, Shakespeare, condo shenanigans. Breathing easier now. We've made progress on the building front, though I'm in limbo right now, waiting to know when it will start and when we need to move out. The kitchen will be so fancy I'll be afraid to use it.

The weather continues to be lovely. Cold at night, warm sunshine at noon. Time has changed, days are short. I took a short walk this morning as I slept in because it's Tuesday, late to school day. I'm listening to Sandman exclusively. So wonderful and it spools out like one magnificent story. I watched an episode of Baptiste last night. Interesting but I am sick of male detectives and sex crime stories. Still, Amsterdam is fun to look at.

Short week with Veteran's Day and a vacation day Friday. We're seeing Hadestown this week! I can hardly believe it. Plague rates seem to be stabilized. Who knows what December will bring. We're set for the Cape for Thanksgiving. Need to sort out BiL's 60th birthday though.

Website work continues. I got credit for presenting at the retreat. Will it bring me a promotion? Good to be engaged in something that's moving forward again.
