The sun came out. It feels like a new year. Happy Samhain! Much of the stress has lifted. The birthday is over, the play is wrapping up, we have a contractor. I booked a house for Thanksgiving.
We had the party on Hallowe'en day. There was a Nor'easter last week and it rained a lot. We were planning on Griggs but it was closed and flooded, so we quickly moved to Linden park. That worked out well because it was near other things, like our house, pizza and Amy's studio. The sign looked great and I think it was a success. Perfect weather. At night, I carved a pumpkin and we walked around the neighborhood to see the kids and the decorations. We watched Nightmare and Hocus Pocus and then to bed.
I'm pleased with the way I organized that really complicated week and party. Hey, look, I can do project management!
I started watching Wallender, but I'm not sure I like it. Very weak on police procedure and very weird to have Sweden populated with British people. It's dark and moody. Time to head back to Grantchester!
