rivervoxAnd they all lived happily ever after. Honey made it back with no mishaps other than a very long wait at the pre-boarding customs. She and her luggage are here and I feel such relief. Back in the condo where we have mostly unpacked and are starting to cook and create new memories. We had latkes last night and I gave Honey her presents. That Scorpio Races Owl Crate is amazing.
The winter concert was Friday night and it was very stressful. Three shows, two venues, not enough help at the end and poor coordination. We ended up with a crowded foyer, probably spreading virus everywhere. The lead volunteer for the whole thing disappeared into the auditorium for the orchestra show and was never see again. Fiasco. Next year I'm just going to work Violet's shows and only tangentially be involved. I will work on the documentation and recruit people this year, but then I'm out. it's becoming all foam and no beer and too much stress.
Another plague winter is upon us. 3.5 more days of school, then a blessed break. The Cape on Sunday. We do need more space.
