When the Levee Breaks

I did yoga this morning than walked to Trader Joe's. I'll go to the Farmer's Market later. Little to report. Cloudy and coolish again. I look at photos of the Cape and the blasted dunes look unbearable. I watched Annika last night. Interesting premise and lighter than Unforgotten. Is there really a Scotland Marine Homicide Unit? Not really. Just did a bit of research and it's a comedy. There is marine policing but Glasgow doesn't need an entire waterfront murder unit. Such a pleasure to watch Nicola Walker. Realized that I'm strangely relieved to (probably) not be going to LA. It seems too much. Just like going to see Dresden Dolls in November seems like too much. Is this aging? It all becomes more trouble than it's worth? Is it true or is the weight of past disappointments?
