Wild Mountain Thyme

Back in the 'Line after a blissful weekend in Vermont. Still very relaxed and tuned in. The Air Bnb we stayed at was an antique-filled space with an amazing view of the Waterbury Reservoir and the mountains. I got to sit outside for all my meals. We messed about with boats, swam, walked in the woods, grilled food, made s'mores, went to Burlington and saw a great fireworks show. It was a lovely place and I'd like to return to that area. Just to be on the water like that was a gift. To wake up and look out on heaven each day. To glide on the water, weightless and free. Sigh.

Some stressors of course. The plague ripping through both camps. Do parents know staff are sick and they are under-resourced? How many children are ill? What the fuck is wrong with people?

But here I sit, with my backyard view. Employed, healthy save for a few bug bites. Grateful for the weekend, the trees and water.
