Just a word before I go
Jul. 2nd, 2021 12:56 pmCold and rainy. New England Weather WTF? We're off to Vermont today. My first time out of the state since Feb '20. I'm looking forward to the green hills and the inland sea. Not sure if it's going to be warm enough to swim, but we can certainly kayak.
Speaking of which, I went out paddling yesterday in Natick. Made the reservation, got myself out there, and spent 1.5 hours on the lake. I hung out afterwards and ate lunch and read my book. Very mellow day. One the way home, I stopped at Dairy Queen for a dip cone. Nice to have the day to myself. Today I'm packing and cleaning. I dyed my hair purple again. Seems celebratory. A threshold has been crossed I suppose. Here's to crossing borders and rivers and fault lines!
