Stretch

I went to Readercon yesterday. It was great to be there. Definitely on the edge of my comfort zone, but I'm glad I did it. I was running on little sleep and lots of nerves. I wish I could stay longer since I have limited time and must do all the things. it's amazing to be in an environment with so many book-minded people, speaking a shared language of reference and reverence and joy.

At night Violet went to a friend's house and we watched TV. It's stormy today, so not great for outdoor activity. I'm hoping to see Asteroid City this afternoon. We've got a challenging week set up, but it's all good things. Serenity, courage, wisdom.
