Beautiful, sunny morning. I went to bed early and slept until the coyotes came out to play. First there was a long howl that sounded like it was outside my window, and then the yipping. They do love the moonlight.

Last night I made banana bread. Tonight I attempt hamentashen. I'm not looking forward to it as the dough is always hard to work with but I'm sure any triangle-shaped cookie will do out here in the galut. It's nice to have Purim to plan for this week. I should find something to look forward to in Brookline.

We watched Lupin last night and were upset that the season ends on a cliff hanger. It's interesting to watch a show produced in another country. This morning I walked out to Millstone and then down to the bike path and back. The loop wasn't worth walking on that busy road with no shoulder. They do need a sidewalk!

I listened to Levar read Ken Liu's story Staying Behind. I only got halfway through but it's very compelling. This afternoon I hope to take the kids on an outing, maybe to the beach. So many last things.
